Become a Jira champion
Consistent, daily use helps you unlock the full potential of Jira. When you reinforce your own habits, you demonstrate its potential to other team members. Your efforts will quickly grow into consistent habits for everyone on your team.
Open Jira everyday and update it as you work. Configure your project, boards, and queues to reflect the daily workflow for your team and to highlight what work they should do first.
Encourage your team to communicate in Jira. Ask teammates and subject matter experts for help by mentioning them in an internal comment. This provides them context and allows everyone to answer in the same place. Agents in service projects can leverage those answers for content in future knowledge base articles. In software and business projects, users will be able to easily find discussions related to specific pieces of work.
👇 Use comments within a work item or request to provide context and allow users to reference in the future.
